International Institute for Primary Health Care – Ethiopia (IPHC-E)

Established on February 1, 2016, by the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia, the International Institute for Primary Health Care – Ethiopia (IPHC-E) is an international center of excellence for primary healthcare training, implementation support, and evidence-generation. Founded to share lessons and technical innovations from Ethiopia's landmark Health Extension Program (HEP), the institute supports low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) globally in strengthening community-based primary healthcare systems toward achieving Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by 2030.
