Development For Peace Organization (DPO) is an Ethiopian national non-governmental organization established in Addis Ababa in 2020. Operating under the guiding theme “Protect, Develop, and Sustain”, DPO utilizes a triple-nexus programming approach that integrates humanitarian response, long-term development, and peacebuilding to build resilient communities.

Led by an all-female Board of Directors (5 members), DPO places women, girls, children, and vulnerable groups at the core of its mission, policy-making, and program design.

ChildFund has operated in Ethiopia since 1971, supporting children and families through environmental challenges, droughts, and armed conflict. As Africa's oldest independent nation and second-most populous country, Ethiopia faces ongoing threats to food and water security as well as disruptions from regional conflicts. ChildFund Ethiopia implements community-based programs to ensure children grow up healthy, educated, skilled, and safe.

The African Union Commission (AUC) serves as the key executive and administrative secretariat of the African Union (AU). Established in 1958 by the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) is one of the UN's five regional commissions.
