MCRC was established by Mrs. Jutta De Muynk in 2006. It was legally registered in 2010. MCRC was initiated to help the needy children going to a church school at Aware Area. However the founder though the course of her work realized that poverty and violence are the underlying causes of the problems and sufferings of the children and their mothers. And thus the mothers were included in the program.

Founded by Henok Semaegzer Fente, an Ethiopian-American journalist and media educator with over 15 years of experience in international reporting, media development, and creating and managing youth broadcasts, MMI was established with a vision to cultivate vibrant, responsible, and independent media, professional unions, and education centers across Africa.
We work through research, training, and institutional support to create a vibrant media ecosystem that serves democracy and development. Our approach combines cutting-edge research with practical capacity building and policy advocacy.
