Job Summary

The Communications Intern is responsible for preparing communication and visibility content under the supervision of the Grants and Program Coordinator. The role involves collecting photos, videos, success stories, and consent forms from field offices—both in person and remotely—to support donor reports, MTI social media platforms, and internal communication channels while ensuring strict adherence to global branding standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Collection & Storytelling: Gather high-quality photographs, captions, and human-interest stories from program implementation areas and field health facilities.
  • Media & Documentation Support: Support photo and video documentation during events, organize communication materials for internal review, and maintain structured filing systems.
  • Branding & Social Media: Ensure all developed materials align with MTI’s global branding guidelines and assist in updating website and internal social platforms (such as Workplace).
  • Administrative & Program Support: Help organize meetings, workshops, and learning-hour sessions; support the review of success stories; and assist in drafting presentations, MOUs, LOUs, TORs, and training agreements.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Education: BA Degree in Public Relations and Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or Communications with a cumulative GPA of 3.6 and above.
  • Experience: Open to fresh graduates with 0 years of prior experience.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong writing, storytelling, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Good understanding of photography, camera handling, and visual documentation.
  • High adaptability, cultural awareness, teamwork, and willingness to travel to remote field locations.
  • Required Skill Tags: Communication, attention to detail, and organizational skill.
