Currently, AHF-Ethiopia is supporting 26 high-load public health facilities, 1 NGO, and 1 AHF-owned clinic and providing standardized comprehensive HIV care and prevention services for more than 96,000 clients in Addis Ababa, Oromia, Amhara, Sidama, and Tigray regions.
The organization is looking for an experienced candidate for the AHF-supported Shashemene Comprehensive Specialized Hospital and Yirgalem General Hospital, at Data Clerk position, to support the facility on HIV prevention, testing, linkage, treatment, care, and retention services.
The Data Clerk is responsible for ensuring the availability of complete, accurate, timely, and high-quality program and health information data within the assigned facility. The position supports data collection, compilation, verification, reporting, analysis, data quality assurance, electronic medical record (EMR) implementation, and data utilization activities. The incumbent serves as the focal person for facility-level data management and contributes to evidence-based decision-making, program monitoring, and performance improvement.
AHF-Ethiopia has agreed to partner with Sidama Regional Health Bureau and Oromia Regional Health Bureau to maximize the effort of HIV prevention, treatment, and care provided in different service units of the hospitals. The Data Clerk will execute the following duties and responsibilities to meet the stated objective.
