
The One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI) is a nonprofit organization advancing One Health and sustainable development by addressing the interconnected challenges of human, animal, plant, and environmental health. Through donor-funded programs, capacity-strengthening initiatives, digital platforms, and community-driven interventions, OHDI works to deliver integrated and practical solutions that improve lives and ecosystems.
As part of our commitment to building the next generation of One Health professionals, OHDI is pleased to open applications for the OHDI Internship Program 2026.
This internship program is designed to provide graduates with meaningful, hands-on experience across multidisciplinary One Health program areas, while strengthening professional skills, applied learning, and career readiness.
The OHDI Internship Program offers early-career professionals the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects that sit at the intersection of public health, animal welfare, environmental sustainability, and development practice.
Interns will work closely with program teams to support research, implementation, coordination, communications, and knowledge management activities aligned with OHDI’s mission and strategic priorities.

Each program area offers exposure to policy, research, community engagement, and systems-based One Health approaches.
Interns are expected to commit time, meet assigned deliverables, and actively participate in assigned program/project activities throughout the internship period.
