Why Farm Africa? In rural communities across eastern Africa the challenges of poverty, food insecurity and biodiversity loss are being intensified by climate change and global economic instability. The key to addressing each of these challenges lies in sustainable and effective agriculture. Farm Africa works in partnership with smallholder farmers and small businesses to improve the quality, quantity and value of their produce, so that they can support their families with more resilient livelihoods. We support farmers to gain access to finance and markets, so that they can strengthen their businesses and revitalise communities by expanding employment.
