Job Summary

An exciting vacant position has arisen at East Africa Bottling Share Company – Ethiopia for the role of Store Keeper.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Store materials safely and systematically to ensure easy identification and accessibility.
• Issue materials and supplies in accordance with approved procedures and requests.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records in manual and/or computerized inventory systems.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and stock verifications, and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and support Material Requirement Planning (MRP) activities to ensure material availability.
• Prepare inventory and stock movement reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the store area in line with 5S principles (Sort, Systematize, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain).
• Follow operational safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
• Support periodic audits and provide required inventory documentation.

Required Qualifications

Education

• First Degree in Purchasing & Supplies Management, Management, Accounting, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

• 0-1 year Experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related area is an advantage.
• Experience in receiving, storing, and issuing materials.

• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Knowledge of GMP and 5S principles
• Good communication and teamwork skills
