Job Description


TSFP Facilitators support Health Extension Workers to commence TSFP distributions, development of Joint distribution plan, and dispatching of TSFP commodities in close coordination with Storekeepers and TSFP officers. TSFP facilitators are also responsible for proper documentation and recording of Waybills, Beneficiary lists, screening data, and Beneficiaries reached and kebele approval formats. Work closely with cluster health center and HPs for proper selection of FDPs and FDAs for smooth implementation of the TSFP program.

In some cases, this involves engaging with communities, conducting needs assessments, and building capacity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other stakeholders, build relationships, and coordinate activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and outcomes.
  • Joint TSFP distribution planning and community mobilization at facilities and community level.
  • TSFP commodity planning and dispatching to FDPs and HPs as per the distribution plan.
  • Proper documentation, recording, and reporting of TSFP distribution documents.
  • Community mobilization and active case finding, detection, and screening activities.

Required Education, Training, License, Registration, and/or Certification

  • BSc degree in Public Health, Clinical Nursing, Nutrition, and related health field of study preferred from accredited universities or health colleges.
  • Required Profession: 1–3 years of experience.

Certificates on:

  • Acute malnutrition 2019 revised guideline training.
  • Revised 2019 IMAM guideline, and IYCF-E training.
  • Integrated Pharmaceuticals Logistics System (IPLS).
  • Trained on Family MUAC approach and TSFP/MAM.

Required Language(s)

  • Amharic
  • Afan Oromo
  • English

Required Travel and/or Work Environment Accommodations

  • Willingness to work in SC and OTP centers.
