It wishes to invite applicants with the following qualification and experience for the Kawo Koyisha Integrated Rural Development Project.

Job Summary

Position: Water & Irrigation Expert

No. Required: 1 (One)

Duty station: Kawo Koyisha Integrated Rural Development Project (KKIRDP) (Wolayita Zone, Gesuba Town)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, study, and design small scale irrigation & water supply schemes.
• Supervise all irrigation activities of the project and water supply.
• Produce design and bill of quantities for irrigation & water supply works.
• Implement and supervise flood protection structures at river banks.
• Produce operational plan of action and organize reports on regular basis.

Required Qualifications

• BSc Degree in Irrigation Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering or Agriculture Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Irrigation activities & water works.
• NGO experience is advantageous.
• A good command of spoken and written English.
