The job holder is responsible to facilitating community participation and enabling children and women access protection services to reduce their vulnerabilities and for leading the provision of Psychological First AID (PFA) and Psychosocial Support (PSS) program in the context of Internally Displaced People, the host community and returnees.
The purpose of the position is to help people to cope with mental health issues, emotional stress and challenging situations using a range of psychological concepts and psychotherapeutic techniques. The incumbent is expected to assist children and women affected by the conflict with purpose of resulting in improve psychosocial functional capacity and coping up with the trauma of displacement, by offering them a structured and focused way of addressing their problems and case management service.
