Pastoralist In Action Development (PIADO) is a non-profit national Civil Society Organization (CSO) established in July 2019 under Ethiopian Federal Proclamation No. 1113/2019 (Registration No. 4264). Operating across the Somali and Oromia regional states, PIADO provides integrated humanitarian relief, recovery, and long-term resilience programming for drought- and conflict-affected pastoralist, agro-pastoralist, and internally displaced communities.
PIADO operates primarily in the pastoralist border areas and interior zones of Somali and Oromia Regional States, supported by a central coordination presence in Addis Ababa.
