Programs Development & Planning
- Facilitate and prepare annual plans and budgets by working closely with the AP manager, sectoral officers, finance, and sponsorship teams.
- Participate in program and project design irrespective of funding sources.
- Ensure proper implementation of DME policy using the LEAP approach, DPA, HORIZON, and other strategic initiatives.
- Identify and contextualize key indicators from National Standard TPs, including CWB target indicators.
- Provide inputs for concept notes and proposal development as deemed necessary.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Undertake project and program monitoring and reporting (AMR, SAR, etc.) using set performance indicators.
- Maintain detailed schedules for activity tracking and budget utilization for each project.
- Use appropriate data management systems to analyze and aggregate data for report writing.
- Utilize WV systems and procedures, including HORIZON and other established protocols.
Programs and Projects Evaluation
- Facilitate project and program evaluations within the AP operational area in coordination with the MEAL Department and Support Service Division (SSD).
- Ensure proper coordination with woreda government offices and targeted local communities.
- Share evaluation reports with concerned stakeholders for learning and future institutional use.
Accountability, Surveys, and Assessments
- Accountability: Facilitate the rollout of social and program accountability frameworks and establish feedback mechanisms for beneficiary communities.
- Surveys: Facilitate surveys and assessments following set standards and guidelines.
- Data Collection: Participate in developing sampling frames, community mobilization, and the recruitment/orientation of enumerators.
- Verification: Internalize survey methodologies to gather qualitative and quantitative data, ensuring accuracy through field testing.
Networking and Collaboration
- Support the AP manager in networking and collaboration with woreda governments and community partners.
- Identify key users for information sharing and facilitate scoping discussions with stakeholders.
- Review critical findings from monitoring and evaluation reports to promote shared understanding and cooperation within the woreda.
